In our latest ‘Meet the Team’ blog series we will be interviewing different TISSL members across all of our departments! For our first interview we sat down with the head of development and design, as well as the HORIZON creator, Ian Zucchi:

Ian Zucchi
What’s your title?
I am the head of development and design, as well as the project manager for HORIZON.
How long have you worked at TISSL?
Coming up for 3 years (started 1 Feb ’17)
What does your job entail?
Managing the development team, maintaining and prioritising the product roadmap, defining the user experience, designing the product user interface, planning sprints, pre-sales demos and product evangelising
What is a typical day like?
Manic!
Favourite memory from work
Downloading the HORIZON POS app on an iPad for the first time
Where are you from?
It’s a bit complicated… Italian born in Zim, lived in South Africa, Italy, USA and now the UK
Where did you go to school?
Umtali Boys High School, Zimbabwe
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Chilling with my incredible family, playing the guitar, leading a worship band, writing songs
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I have 5 kids including quadruplets (yes 4 at once!)
