Miss Q’s has brought a rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle to Earls Court and it is yet another venue to have selected TISSL as its EPoS provider

Miss Q’s is a 420 capacity pool bar, diner and live music club in Earls Court London. It boasts a rock ‘n’ roll interior and a heady mix of live music, pool and American diner style food.

When it opened in 2009, GQ Magazine said: “It’s possibly the club London has been waiting for. And it’s definitely the venue that’s been missing from Earl’s Court.”

Miss Q’s is the latest venture from Eddie Bloom – son of Jamie Bloom, former owner of The Rainbow Theatre, which played host to the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa during the 1970s.

The main entrance on Earls Court opens onto a staircase, which leads downstairs to a vast open plan basement area that spans 7,000 sq ft. Inside, Miss Q’s is split into different areas, including an section with three full-sized American pool tables, an American diner, and a music salon and dance floor.

TISSL was chosen as Miss Q’s EPoS provider when it opened and the company has provided a system including six terminals and one back office computer.

“The TISSL system is easy-to-use and maintain and offers us straightforward, simple, reliable software,” says Andrius Juodaitis, General Manager at Miss Q’s. “Our staff find the system really simple to learn and use.”

The menu at Miss Q’s focuses on classic American favourites – including Miss Q’s Homemade Burger, Drummer Boy Chicken and Sharing Platters. Similarly, the drinks menu features wine, draft and bottled beers, ciders and tequilas, as well as a selection of classic cocktails.

At present, Miss Q’s relies on its TISSL system as a till and also as a reporting system.

“Our TISSL system is extremely flexible and we can request a whole variety of reports – such as who sold the most in a particular period,” says Andrius.

Now that the system is up and running and Miss Q’s has been open for a year, TISSL is working with the venue to provide a stock management system, which will make stock takes and ordering replacement stock much easier.

As a club, Miss Q’s has long opening hours and Andrius says that the TISSL support team makes itself available 24/7.

“There is always somebody available to give us advice – even in the middle of the night,” explains Andrius.
